Taverna Lefteri

SH8, Spile, Himarë 9425

Daily · 12:00–24:00

Himara's oldest restaurant, opened in 1998 and now run by the founder's three children. Tables sit close enough to the Spile waterfront to hear it over dinner. Order the octopus; it is the thing people come back for and the thing that runs out.

Family-run, facing the Ionian, and busy enough that the honey-fried feta and the grilled octopus are gone by late evening. Cash only and no reservations, so arrive early or expect to wait on the step with everyone else.

Aragosta Restaurant

The restaurant of a hotel on Taulantia Street, trading since 1995 and describing its kitchen as fresh fish and Italian cooking. The dishes it lists online run to seafood salad, linguine, grilled sea bass and salmon, with a pizzeria added later; the chef's own listed speciality is linguine with vongole.
