Rruga Mitat Hoxha, Sarandë

Opening hours not verified — check with the venue

A fish restaurant on Rruga Mitat Hoxha, open since 2022, built around wild-caught Ionian fish sold as the day's catch. Its own menu runs to grilled octopus, seafood linguine and risotto, and a pacheri pasta in truffle cream with prawns that it treats as the house dish. It takes no reservations and seats first-come, first-served.

Oda e Babës

Six tables, run by three people, and a meal that opens with a platter of fourteen small plates before you have decided anything. The raki and the wine come off the family's own farm. Not the place for a quick lunch — it is built for sitting still for three hours.

Sirocco Restaurant

The upscale end of Sarandë's seafront — Mediterranean cooking with Albanian roots, and the only kitchen in town people argue about on the strength of its steak as much as its fish. Opens at two on Mondays, midday otherwise.

Family-run, facing the Ionian, and busy enough that the honey-fried feta and the grilled octopus are gone by late evening. Cash only and no reservations, so arrive early or expect to wait on the step with everyone else.
